Technical Product Support Engineer Student

Job Description:

  • Providing initial response and guidance to local customer engineers (CE’s) for recovery and troubleshooting of server systems
  • Resolving SW and System Issues on PDC products at customer sites, by communicating with Customer Engineers, R&D focal points and 3rd party vendors
  • Fast responsiveness and high availability to field  issues
  • Implementing Support methodology, troubleshooting flows and knowledge
  • Install Base configurations management
  • Communicate changes, fixes and updates to the field
  • Provide reports and analysis of Install Base performance and status
  • Qualify and verify System procedures before release to field
  • Provide support for installations, upgrades, troubleshooting off and on-site

Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics / Electrical Eng. or related technical discipline
  • System/ OS orientation and experience – Windows Server, Active Directory, Cluster, SQL, Networking - advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting skills – methodical
  • Communication and customer facing capabilities
  • Experience with complex integrated systems - advantage
  • SW Qualification / Integration / SW Development experience – advantage
  • Background in support – advantage
  • Industrial Engineer Student in his/her 3rd year.
  • Ability to work at least 3 days a week (22.5 hours a week)
